Hearts Have Beats

What an absolute blast we had recently at Foundry616 Jazz Club in Sydney. One of my favourite things in the whole world is being with people I care about, and making music with musicians that I love. All of that happened! I know YOU are a lover of music too, so you know what I'm talking about.

It was a joy to have my special guests singing with me too, the ARIA award winning Pat Powell and the mighty Steve Clisby from The Voice.

I cannot thank my band enough either. Beautiful people and fantastic musicians.

Most of all I am grateful to the wonderful AUDIENCE who came out to the show. YOU make the show what it is. Thankyou so much!

If you missed this one, stay tuned for other live shows as they are the best time ever.

If you were there, you would have been the FIRST to hear the super exciting news that I have an amazing collaboration happening with Steve Clisby!

As many of you know I have been mentoring singers for 25 years and I have taught thousands of voice lessons.

I have facilitated multiple vocal workshops for ten years and I have performed professionally in the U.S.A, Japan, China, Europe and Australia.

I am the first jazz singer ever accepted into the Masters of Music (Performance) Degree at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and I was the first Australian to receive a scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.

I have released four albums and numerous singles with another EP on the way. The last two live album launches of mine were sold out.

My original music videos have half a million views online.

I also won the Nescafe Big Break which was a $20,000 award for musical achievements.

Some of my favourite highlights have been touring with the grammy nominated artist Taylor Dayne, being the Opening Act for Vince Jones the Australian Jazz Singer, and performing for events for national leaders at Parliament House.

Basically dear ones, I only say that little spiel to let you know that I have been doing this pathway for a while...

As for Steve, he is originally from California, and is a US/Australian singer-songwriter, instrumentalist and composer who shot to TV fame on The Voice in 2013 and stole millions of Australian hearts. In his five-decade musical career he has jammed with Hendrix, toured with Tina Turner, and gained a cult following in Europe with his band American Gypsy. With over twelve albums and more than ten chart hits to his name world-wide.

As you can see, Steve Clisby has also been on the musical pathway for many years. He was at my place recently while we were hanging out, and he was playing my piano and singing. Wow! Such incredible talent!

Our exciting news is that we are joining forces for an unbelievably cool opportunity. Twelve aspiring singers will be mentored for three intensive days in our unique workshop called, "Hearts Have Beats."

Steve and I are uniquely positioned to help aspiring artists reach their peak in a competitive world. We invite anyone interested to get in quick, and you are most welcome to share this information with anyone you think would benefit from some excellent mentoring across three full days. As I say about every single one of my workshops, "if I was not running it, I would ATTEND MYSELF! Always so good!"

We really look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to share this with anyone you feel may benefit from some great coaching and mentoring.

Here's a highlights clip from my recent live show. Watch till the end and you'll see exactly who I'm referring to here! And you'll definitely know the song we do together in the clip.

Also I love to hear your feedback from these blogs. Many of you mentioned how you benefitted from the last one which mentioned VALUES and STANDARDS.
For example: "I don't chase, beg, steal etc." These are absolutely revolutionary once you apply them.

You are walking on the higher ground once you assimilate these principles, so stay with the journey dear ones. If you have not read it, it is worth a look.

Here it is.

Always remember, You Have A Voice!
